I have created an IOS app called “Uffizi Art History Guide”, now available on itunes. The simple app is designed to do something less simple: help people make the most out of a visit to the Uffizi Gallery by providing them with tips on what to look at, and most importantly, how. The app does not depend on fancy animations or features, but rather on solid text, which has been tested by numerous visitors and checked over by professors. In this way, it’s somewhat old fashioned, based on the classic way of learning art history.
The content of this app is also available as a Kindle ebook.
